And the young lovers met under the moonlight. Showered in a silvery glow, they stood on the bridge. A delicate sheen of glitter coating their skins, hand in hand. He twirled her around, and held her close, as they swayed in rhythm with the nighttime breeze. His whole world was in his arms, and he hung onto her with every ounce of his strength. She could never let go of the sunshine in her life, the one who brought joy to her twilight life. He savored every little moment in her cool and calming presence. He basked in the comforting presence that came with her always. The leaves rustled overhead, shining with a subtle yet constant silvery white glow. He thought to himself- if this were to be his last night, he would gladly welcome Death with open arms at dawn. As he let go of her, he gave her one last longing look. Dawn was approaching - their time was up. And thus, a tearful farewell gave way to a fresh morning. The leaves and flowers were left stained with tears from the night before, as clear and pristine as ever. A curtain of mist, hiding their love from prying eyes, settled down on the stage. The millions of lights slowly dimmed, disappearing one by one. The stage was finally clear, save for the watercolor hues of orange, red, pink, and yellow coloring the backdrop, it being a masterpiece of its own. And finally, the show was brought to an end.
